Having studied law at Bristol University in 1989 and attained first class honours in the Law Society professional exams in 1993, Harriet joined Withers, the consistently top ranked family law department in London. In the following 8 years at Withers, her varied caseload ranged from straightforward divorces involving minimal assets to the cases involving some of the wealthiest individuals in the country with highly complex and international affairs.
In 2002, she co-founded Harcus Sinclair, a boutique family law firm in London which, again was consistently rated as a top family law firm in London. There she built a strong reputation (as set out in the media reviews on our home page) before setting up her own practice in Suffolk in 2006. Meeting and office facilities by prior appointment in New Broad Street, near Liverpool Street station, London as well in Suffolk mean that clients can be seen in a location to suit them.
Harriet is a member of:
- Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association)
- Collaborative Family Law Group
- International Academy of Collaborative Family Lawyers.
Aside from the media reviews on our 'home page' in Legal Business Magazine and Chambers and Legal 500 legal directories, Harriet is a regular contributor to the Family Law Journal and the BBC Radio 4, Law Today programme.
